Millersylvania is a lakeside campground near Deep Lake and is located five miles off I-5. The campground offers tent sites, four camping cabins, and RV spaces. Tenting, RVs, and cabins are available at Offut Lake Resort in Tenino, a small town in South Thurston County. The resort offers tenting areas with coin operated showers in the campground restroom facilities and a laundry room on site. There are pet-friendly and pet-free options for tenters. The RV sites have free WIFI, water, electric, and septic. Cabins and cottages are available for those who would rather stay in comfortable, home-like environments. All these options are near beautiful Offut Lake that has a 5-mile-per hour speed limit, boat wakes do not bother swimmers. You can enjoy fishing, swimming, and boating at the resort. Tolt MacDonald Park and Campground
Tolt MacDonald Park and Campground in Carnation, WA has a different type of camping that doesn’t involve pitching a tent Campers, instead of the hassle of wrestling stakes, can relax in the cozy comfort of a retrofitted shipping container. The campground, 27 miles away from Seattle, features a shipping container. There is a wooden bunk bed that is double on the bottom and single on top, a row of wooden cabinets against the opposite wall, and a lounge chair that converts to a single sleeping space. For dining space, there is a table with bench seating. The room has windows along most of the walls and curtains for privacy. There are no toilets except for pit toilets with spigots for washing. A firepit is available for cooking, or for roasting marshmallows. The Tolt campground also offers yurt, tent, as well as RV camping. Note that reaching the container, yurt, and tent area is by foot, on a 500-footbridge you must cross with your camping gear and food. Wheelbarrows are available for use.
