The Willamette Valley, and in particular Linn County, in Oregon, offers some of the most beautifully picturesque places to camp, not only in Oregon, but anywhere else in the country.
Imagine, if you will, rolling rivers and babbling brooks, crystal blue lakes and mighty pines, and camping while being nestled in lush fields of wildflowers. That is what life is like camping in Linn County, Oregon.

Sunnyside County Park
If you love nature, and if you love the water you are sure to love camping at Sunnyside. With just under one hundred acres, with 165 camp sites; of which 132 of them have water and electrical hook – ups. There is also bathing and bathroom facilities, as well as a place to dock and moor your boat. There is a playground available for the children, and of course, swimming to your heart’s content. If you like to take a leisurely walk in the evening, or even a vigorous hike, there are many trails, just take your pick. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance.
After just one visit you will understand why Sunnyside County Park is a favorite camp site.
Cascadia State Park
This park is the epitome of nature’s beauty. There is tent camping as well as RV camping, and a few more primitive sites. Even though this Park is really large there are only about 24 campsites which makes it perfect for those who like more seclusion. The camping sites are along a stream that feeds into the Santiam River. There is a large open meadow for children to play, and swimming. If you like an added challenge; from the camping area you can take a trail that, if followed for about a mile, will lead right up to the most beautiful little waterfall you ever saw. The bathroom facilities here at Cascadia State Park are always kept nice and clean.
The camping here is first come, first served.
Waterloo County Park
Waterloo County Park offers 128 acres of natural landscape with many areas to camp with tent or RV. There are nice bathrooms located through – out the park, and a place to shower. There are so many things to do while camping here at Waterloo it would be next to impossible to take it all in, in a day. And for a touch of something a little unusual for a camping park, there is a Disc Golf Course for your golfing pleasure.

All three of the camping locations are pet friendly, allowing for up to two dogs. Their only requirements are, they are kept on a leash and no excessive barking. There are doggie areas where you can run you dog without their leash.
