The New York Times picked Bistro Biscottis as one of the top 4 places to eat in Jacksonville. Locals simply call the restaurant Biscottis. Opened in 1993 by 2 local owners, the Bistro serves brunch from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. For an upscale eatery, their prices for brunch are reasonable, ranging from $9.00 for a Healthy Start brunch to $13.00 for their Steak and Eggs. Two specialty dishes include Quiche Lorraine and Creme Brulee French Toast.
Maple Street Biscuit Company
The Maple Street Biscuit Company is a newer addition to Jacksonville’s upscale eateries, opening on 2012. The owners opened the restaurant near the active Jacksonville Beach area and the restaurants is popular with tourists and locals alike. This eatery is for those who really love biscuits, as the name says it all. The buttery, larger than life biscuits run from $5 for the Ralphie( Flaky biscuit with sausage gravy) to $8 for the Five and Dime (egg, bacon, chicken cheddar cheese and sausage gravy). Any specials at this eatery? Just about everything for a southern person( or one at heart) who love buttery biscuits!
