Okay, so I cook for a military man and I want to make sure I keep the meals 3 things: cheap, tasty, and filling, so making this meal was definitely a hit! Also if I could just stress how much I LOVE my crock pot and if you don’t have one I strongly suggest you look into investing into one because they will change your life, but more on that later.
Lets get started on this delicious recipe so yall can get it started for tonight!
Here’s what you’ll need
- · 3-4 chicken breasts
- · 2 cups “sweet baby rays” BBQ sauce (I use sweet and spicy)
- · 1 can of diced/sliced pineapples (I also like using sliced)
- · ½ cup of pineapple juice (straight from the can up there^)
- · ¼ an onion
- · White rice
Alright lets get to putting this dinner together!
Place your chicken into the crockpot and just add some salt and pepper just because you can never go wrong with some staple flavors, right?
Okay next you want to dice up your fourth of your onion and add it over your chicken.
Next in a bowl add your 2 cups of your “sweet baby rays” BBQ sauce and ½ cup of pineapple juice, mix that together and pour over your chicken and onions that are hanging out in the crock pot.
Put the slices/dices of pineapples over your chicken and now put the lid on and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
After the 5-6 hours shred the chicken, serve over white rice, and enjoy!
I hope yall love this as much as my military man and me did!
