Bacon, who does not love this awesome food? From breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts and even snacks, there is not a single meal that is not bacon-friendly. I bake all my bacon in the oven as it tends to be crispier.
Aside from vegans and vegetarians, most people love bacon, because it’s so perfect for many meals. For those of us who enjoy bacon, here are some handy ways to incorporate this yummy food into each meal.
Cook bacon and scrambled eggs until they are done. Fry up a tortilla and make a breakfast taco. Place the cooked ingredients on the tortilla add some cheese and it is great for on the go meal.
If you like hot peppers, onions or tomatoes go ahead and toss them inside here. It is your breakfast so make it any way you want it.
Make a BLT, it’s so good. Instead of the same old bacon slices which tend to fall off a sandwich, be sure to weave the meat together as shown in the images. This way it does not fall off.
Slice the tomato as thick as you like it and add some romaine lettuce for a new taste sensation.
Place some strips of bacon on a cookie sheet and bake about ten minutes in an oven that has been preheated to 375. Now take a few pieces of your favorite un-breaded fish and wrap your bacon around it. Use a fork to wrap it so you do not burn your fingers. Now bake the fish until it is done.
Serve the fish with French fries or a nice green salad.
Speaking of French fries, you will never have plain old fries again after you try this yummy way of fixing them. Bake some fries, according to the package directions, until they are done. When the fries are done, top them with cheese sauce, diced onions, diced tomatoes, your favorite bottled ranch dressing and a dollop of sour cream.
You will need a fork to eat these as they are messy, but so worth the mess. You could fry these in a deep fryer, but they do tend to soak up the grease and do not taste so good with the overload of toppings.
Place some bacon on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with brown sugar and bake. The oven should be set at 375 and bake it for 10-15 minutes according to personal taste.
Make some white cupcakes, and top with maple flavored icing. Next add some cooked crispy bacon which you have crumbled into tiny pieces on top of the cupcakes.
