Don’t get upset when the guests at your party ignore all the foods that you put out to eat. It’s not that they don’t like your cooking; they love it. It’s just that they’re so obsessed with one particular appetizer that they won’t have a lot of interest in the other foods. Don’t take it to heart, though; your guests will still have a great time and will be well fed. When you offer up bacon, cheese, and biscuit bombs, you create appetizers that are filling, delicious, and different than the norm. You’ll see that creating yummy appetizers doesn’t have to be a chore; the bacon, cheese, and biscuit appetizers are super easy to create.
Biscuit bombs are perfect as appetizers but can also be meals or snacks. They’re just as fabulous at a party as they are at home. There are different ways to make the appetizers so you can create the type that suits your own taste. Start out by opening up a can of biscuits and using cubed cheese. Buy cubed cheese or cut it up yourself. The cheese can be cheddar, mozzarella, or another type that you like.
Biscuits can vary in size so pull off a third or a half and wrap a cheese cube in it. After pulling the biscuit up and over the cheese, and making sure that the cheese is completely covered, roll the biscuit between your palms to round it.
Take a piece of raw bacon and wrap it around the cheese biscuit. Use a toothpick to secure it. Make as many of the bacon, cheese, and biscuit arrangements as you need, and deep fry them. Cook until the bacon appears crispy and then drain them on paper towels.
There are all sorts of biscuit appetizers – bombs – that you can make for whatever occasion. Instead of wrapping up a cube of cheese, wrap up a jalapeno, a cube of chicken, or a meatball, and wrap it in bacon. After deep frying, serve them as they are, or offer dips, such as ranch dressing or melted cheese.
Bacon, cheese, and biscuit bombs – or other varieties – are scrumptious and easy to make. They fit right in as appetizers for parties but they also make yummy snacks for kids and adults. Make them into dinners by serving them with a side dish and a salad. Delicious, easy, inexpensive – what more can you ask from an appetizer?
