The Apex 7 Day Mediplanner Pill organizer was the perfect size for the pills I needed to put in it. I was using it for my dog who had some large chewable pills and a big fish oil capsule so I needed large compartments and this worked out well.
Total Size: The total size of the Apex 7 day Mediplanner is 8.25″ wide, 5.5″ long and 1.25″ deep.
Compartment Size: Each compartment is a little larger than a 1″ cube. It’s slightly wider than it is long.
Lids: The lids are marked with the day of the week and MORN, NOON, EVE, and BED. They are also color coded for time of day. Each Time of day lid comes off in a strip for all 7 days. So there are 4 total strips that can slide in and out for easy cleaning. In addition to the sliding out of the total strip, each daily lid opens and closes with a click so you can open one without opening them all.
Filling: The Apex 7 Day Mediplanner Pill Organizer was easy to fill. Generally I opened each lid individually. I would not recommend filling with the lids completely off unless you have no small pills. I had a small pill get stuck in the area where the whole lid slides in and out and when I slid the lid in, it crushed that pill. It was easy enough to just lift each lid open and then snap them closed when you are done filling for the week.
Dispensing: One of the nice things about the Apex 7 Day Mediplanner Pill Organizer is that the front of each cup is slightly curved so if you have small pills in there you can slide them up the front rather than turning the whole thing over and having them fall out. I think that is really important in a weekly pill organizer of this size.
Cleaning: Cleaning is easy in warm soapy water. Remove the lid strips and hand wash. I would probably not wash this in the dishwasher as I would be afraid the lids may not fit tightly if it got too hot.
