Some people have problems starting out when they promote their articles. It really doesn’t have to be that complicated, though. Just go to different blogs, forums, or other social networking sites that are about people with similar interests as your material. Here are a few of the different ways of promoting your content.
Facebook- This is a great way to show your friends your material when it gets promoted. A few of them might share your article, too, which could make it go viral. Good for you!
Blogs/forums– For instance, if your article is on dating you may want to find forums that have to do with dating and relationships. If someone is wondering about a specific topic that your article may help them with, just put down your hyperlink and let them know why you think it might help them.
Ask/answer websites– You can go on these websites and look under certain categories where you can help answer people’s questions with your articles. After a while, others will look on there as well to see what answers were posted. Make sure you know the rules of the site, such as limits to how many answers you can post to.
Local topics forums– If you have a few articles about local events, etc., then you can go to local forums and post your articles for views.
Websites such as boingboing.net and ezinearticles are also a great way of getting your articles known. Or, you can even start your own blog.
