Josh was having a pool party to celebrate his birthday. He invited some friends from school. His mom without his knowledge invited an old family friend named Lynn. She went to school with Josh. She was unpopular and not very well liked.
Lynn and her mom were a little late. They had a little trouble finding the place since it was out in the backwoods. It was a nice big place with a lot of land. The swimming pool was in the backyard. It was really breathe taking.
Once there Lynn too off her shirt and was laying in the sun for a bit. She already had her bathing suit underneath it shirt. It was a top with a skirt bottom. In the corner or the years there was an inflatable raft. When she went over to pick it up she could have sworn she heard a noise coming from the shed near-by.
Not wanting to get into trouble or anything she decided to just ignore it. She threw the raft in the pool and jumped on top of it. She had her book ready. As she laid there in the sun reading, all she could think about was that shed. She wanted to know what was in it.
She wasn’t paying any attention and the boys decided they wanted to have some fun. So, they flipped her. They were laughing but so was she. She knew they did it in all fun and games. Nothing was really meant by it. She decided to get them back.
She lunged over and got pushed one of the boys underwater. He decided to push her up and throw her. Now they were all laughing and having a good time. Yet, she still couldn’t take her mind off that shed.
A little later on in the day she pulls Josh aside. Telling him what she heard coming from the shed. He has no clue what she’s talking about. They both decided to go over and see what’s going on.
The shed is locked with a pad lock on it. Only Josh’s parents have the keys. Josh and Lynn find some bolt cutters in the garage and cut the lock. Inside they find a child. Lynn goes up to him and tries to give him some food while Josh goes to get his father.
The child crouches down in the corner behind a box. Josh’s father comes over and starts yelling at Josh and Lynn for opening the shed. “Look!” Lynn says there is a child back there.
“Oh, um.” Not knowing what to do. He tries to be nice and coax the child out from behind the box. The child is too scared and won’t come any closer. Josh yells for his mother to come over.
Josh’s mother comes over to see what’s going on. She figures out what Josh’s dad was working on in the shed the past few weeks. He found a feral child and was observing him for a paper.
