Shoes are fundamental to every day life. Stylish or not, life requires us to wear shoes. But why not choose style over function? I’m not saying sacrifice pain for beauty, but I am firm believer in looking cute but feeling comfy.
Here are five different styles of shoes that every woman should have in her closet:
1. Ballet Flats/Loafers
Ballet flats/loafers are the best thing since sliced bread. No but really. They offer comfort, and can add an extra flirty touch to any outfit. I believe in having one pair of black flats, and one fun pair maybe in a cute color or vintage style! TJ Maxx and H&M have great and affordable selections
2. Nude heels
Nude heels are great because they are so versatile. Nude heels are the new black heels. Nude heels are great for work but also great for going out. I recommend modest heels with closed toes for ample options and versatility.
Sneakers are obviously great for comfort. Sneakers can also keep your feet warm on chilly days. But stay away from the orthopedics. There are so many cute options out there. From converse to vans to even fly Nikes.
A solid pair of great leather boots should be in every woman’s closet. Brown or black, combat or riding, boots are fashionable and can be worn many ways. While boots are great for the fall and winter, I also love wearing them with shorts and dresses in the warmer weather.
No need for rubber flip flops anymore. Trade those babies in, and upgrade your style. Sandals are great for warm weather and can give any outfit a girly little extra touch. There are so many options as well to choose from from thongs to gladiators.
