I have saved so many of these recipes and only cook a few of them, but I will say I was not disappointed in the way they came out. Here are 5 picks of recipes that I have shared with others or my own page, check them out and if you like them you can find the complete recipe by clicking on the recipe title.
Crock Pot Sweet Garlic Chicken – Slow cooker recipes are always nice because of the convenience of putting it all in one pot, turning it on and walking away for hours only to return to a kitchen filled with the aroma of what’s inside. This recipe is really simple and when it is done there will be a gravy like coating over your chicken. With the addition of red pepper flakes it will have a bit of a kick, but feel free to leave them out if you like your food more on the mild side.
Lasagna Roll Ups – Every time I see this recipe, it makes me hungry. I love lasagna, but let’s face it, when serving it up it can get a bit messy. This recipe is made with chicken and of course a lot of various cheeses and it uses a red sauce. I think I would like to make this recipe with a white sauce much like an Alfredo sauce, it seems like it would go really good with the chicken. If you want to spice it up a bit I am thinking you could add some diced Ortega chilies to it.
Bacon Wrapped, Cream Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breasts – This already has my mouth watering, the fact that the chicken breast is stuffed to begin with is great, but to have it wrapped in bacon puts this recipe over the top. For those of you who are on low carb diets, you will fall in love with this recipe and find yourself making it often. With only four ingredients this is a fast and easy recipe to make any time or make extra and simply heat them in the microwave the next time.
Baked Zucchini Chips – One of my favorite simple recipes to make when I am in the mood for something crunchy. I try to stay away from fried chips or one that are high in salt and with this recipe you are baking your chips and they are a vegetable which makes it a healthier choice. Sprinkled with paprika which is a spice that will boost your metabolism, lower your blood pressure and reduce your appetite.
Fat Head Pizza – Another great recipe for low carb eaters, but a great dish for everyone. This recipe uses almond flour for the crust, which, if done right comes out a lovely golden brown. Topped with whatever topping you want, this is a great way to allow everyone to make their very own pizza just the way they like it.
