Daily habits can cause premature aging. When you are young, you shouldn’t have fine lines or wrinkles. If you are, it is time to reevaluate your daily routines. Your routines can not only add years to your face, but also shorten your lifespan. Here are some things that could be causing you to age quickly:
Eating Too Many Desserts
Too many desserts, can prematurely age your skin. Sugar molecules can damage the cells, resulting in dull skin and loss of tone. It can also cause dark under-eye circles and even puffiness. Overtime, you will see an increase in fine lines and wrinkles. So, eat more healthy foods and less desserts. Eat more healthy snacks, such as apples, yogurt, or oranges.
Don’t Get Enough Sleep
Lack of sleep causes dark under-eye circles and bags. It is important to get at least 7 to 10 hours of sleep. Sleep deprivation will cause weight gain and a lack of focus. It will also cause you to not feel as energized or alert.
Lack Of Exercise
Lack of exercise increases the risk for heart disease and cancer. It can also cause obesity. Exercise keeps you healthy. It will also increase your lifespan. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. To stay motivated, join an exercise program.
Lack Of Sunscreen
Premature aging can also be caused by ultraviolet exposure. Believe it or not, it is present even when it’s cloudy or rainy. Always wear sunblock every day. Be sure to choose sunscreen lotion that is an SPF 30 or SPF 50.
Too Much Makeup
Excess makeup can clog your skin pores, resulting in acne. Also, overusing skin products with harsh ingredients, dries out the skin. This causes premature lines and wrinkles.
