1. Pineapple Dip Bowls
Summer parties are always a good idea but bringing out a fruit tray is a must to keep your guests satisfied while the main course is being prepared . While pineapples can serve as a great finger food, they can also make festive dip bowls. To make the most out of your pineapple all you have to do is cut your pineapple in half, carve out the inside, and use the bottom half to hold whatever party dip you please. Not only is it great decoration but it leaves you with one less dish to wash at the end of the day.
2. Pineapple Vase
Pineapple vases make fantastic centerpieces, they are super easy to make, and they leave you with tons of leftover pineapple pieces to use for those pina coladas. When making your pineapple vase its important to remember to keep the outside of the pineapple intact so you don’t end up with water everywhere. Cut off the top part of the pineapple where the leaves are and carve out the inside in a circular fashion. Then all you have to do is add the water and the bouquet of flowers and you have a beautiful and unique piece of fruit art to liven up your table.
3. Pineapple Food Tray
Much like the pineapple dip bowl, a pineapple food tray is another way to lessen the amount of dishes while creating a cute tabletop serving decoration. For a food tray just cut your pineapple right down the middle vertically and cut the fruit out until each half forms a sort of bowl. Then you just layer your finger food on top of it and you have yet another decorative pineapple ensemble.
4. Pineapple Leaf Centerpiece
Using just the leafy part of the pineapple can also help add some life to your party tray. Cutting off just the top part of the pineapple and setting it in the middle of your food tray adds a cute and creative touch. While layering your food around the pineapple leaves, try adding some garnishes such as orange slices, grapes, or parsley to help add color and taste to your table.
