Going out costs money. Sometimes, if you really need to save money, a fun night in is a great option.
1. Cheaper booze. If you invite people over that are as broke as you, chances are, they’ll be willing to BYOB. When you have a night in, you can still get your drink on as if you were in a bar. But instead of spending roughly $5.00 for a shot, you can all chip in on a bottle of something that you like for far cheaper.
2. Cheaper food. In addition to cheaper booze, you can enjoy cheaper food. If you all chip in to bring ingredients, you can cook together and get a yummy meal for a really low price.
3. Free games. There are countless games that you can play with you friends for the small price of a deck of cards or even a pad and paper. Maybe not even that! A quick google search or some resourcefulness, and you can be having fun for far less money than going out.
4. Good conversation. If you have great friends, which I’m sure you do, you can have fun for free with a great conversation. Don’t underestimate the value of chilling outside with a good beer and some great conversation.
