If you are planning a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., this summer, there are quite a few things to do. Myrtle Beach has many attractions for families and couples. My family and I visit weekly during the summer, so we have season passes to quite a few attractions. Take a look at four places you need to visit.
The beaches in and around Myrtle Beach are absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for a less crowded place to visit, you should check out the Myrtle Beach State Park. They charge like $3 per car and they have a lot to offer. You will find a beautiful beach, pier, picnic tables, shelters, showers, trails, and more.
Wild Water & Wheels
Wild Water & Wheels is a place we visit often. It is so much fun for all ages. Whether you are traveling as a family, or as a couple, you will find this place fun. It is best to visit during a week day if at all possible because the lines aren’t as long. You can find online deals for Wild Water & Wheels, and you can find coupons in the booklets around the beach. This is a great place to get wet and have some fun.
Myrtle Waves is another great waterpark to visit. The only downside to Myrtle Waves is the cement. For some reason, it tends to set your feet on fire. You don’t have that problem at the above waterpark. Myrtle Waves has many slides for different ages along with a wave pool, lazy river, and kiddie area. You can also find deals for Myrtle Waves online and in the coupon books at the beach.
If you are looking for a waterpark and a theme park, you will want to check out Family Kingdom. It is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach and you can buy a pass to the waterpark and the theme park. The theme park offers many rides for all ages and right across the road is a few slides that will keep you cool. This is definitely a must visit place at the beach.
There are a ton of other things you do in Myrtle Beach this summer, but these four are the most popular and the ones I visit often.
