You may feel tired or extremely fatigued. You may not even feel like being productive, even though you have a lengthy to-do list. To be honest, you just need a boost of energy. If you need energy to get through the day, try the following:
Drink Plenty Of Water
Staying hydrated is a great way to keep your energy level up. Dehydration can hinder your ability to complete physical tasks. It can also cause you to not focus or concentrate. Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Drink between 8 to 10 glasses a day.
Eat Small Meals Frequently
You should eat every 3-4 hours. Try eating at least 5 to 6 small meals a day. This will give you all-day energy and keep your body fueled. If you are hungry between meals, eat a healthy snack. Apples, oranges, or nuts, are great healthy snacks.
Watch Your Iron
If you are tired frequently, your body could be low in iron. Eat foods high in iron, such as raisins, liver, or spinach. Red meats, whole grains, and veggies, are also great sources for iron. Also, see your doctor to rule out anemia or other health issues.
Exercise will definitely provide you with energy. Take long walks, early in the morning. Engage in regular, low intensity exercise. Exercise is not only healthy for the body, but also the mind.
