Noodles are an important part of any cuisine.They are both filling and nutritious and can be made in a short amount of time. Try the following recipe for lunch or dinner today!
Things you’ll need:
2 cups noodles (or angle hair pasta)
1 cup cut mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, capsicum, green onion, tomato, French beans, etc)
2 tsp butter
2 tbsp soy sauce
Salt and pepper
Step 1: Cook noodles until soft, strain and keep aside
Step 2: To a pan add butter, soy sauce and vegetables. Stir fry for about 2- 3 minutes.
(Note: Do not over cook vegetables. It is important the vegetables stay crisp for this recipe.)
Step 3: Add cooked noodles to the pan and simmer for a minute or two. Sprinkle salt and pepper to serve.
Cooking tip: 1) Use lemon juice instead of soy sauce for a natural tangy flavor!
2) Replace butter with olive oil for a healthier recipe.
