As an effect, your body uses more of your calories as energy as opposed to storing the calories as fat.
Next best metabolism boosting food would be your leafy greens. This one is so underrated. Listen closely when I say this: just eat your vegetables and get over it. The leafy greens are the best kind. I highly recommend Kale as the best kind of leafy green you can get. The reasoning behind it is simple. They are one of the best antioxidants on the market. I keep using the word antioxidant, and you might be wondering what all the hype is. Well here it is plain and simple. A majority of the toxins in your body are stored in the fat cells. Big surprise. So what happens when all these awesome antioxidants purge those toxins stored within those fat cells? Yep, you get skinnier. Go get yourself some kale, and start munching on it.
I hate this one, but it’s probably the best of all three: fermented veggies. Fermented vegetables have some incredible health benefits. Here’s the catch, they really do not taste good. My mom has me eat some now and then. You think the regular vegetables were bad? Right, but you know what? These fermented veggies have a huge abundance in probiotics. Any antibiotic you took from the doctor to prevent infection probably killed a lot of the probiotics and good bacteria in your system. So you go to the health food store to get some probiotic supplements. Probiotic supplements are good and healthy, and they have thousands of probiotics in them. Can you guess how many probiotics are in fermented vegetables? Billions. So google how to make fermented foods, and start getting healthy!
